Royal Crescent Hotel
Autumn at The Royal Crescent:
Hedgehogs, Photoshoots and Super-suite deals
The drawing room fire is lit, the garden’s leaves are starting to fall, and the rescue hedgehogs are preparing for hibernation: autumn is on its way to The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath. The RCH is the perfect bolthole to escape to this autumn, and it is marking the change in the seasons with four special packages for guests to enjoy.
Brand new package ‘Memories’ invites guests to combine a one-night visit with a personal photoshoot – a fabulous opportunity to preserve memories with loved ones. Other packages include the ever-popular two- for-one Suite Delight, 20% off on two-night stays and the classic Autumn Escape, each of which promises total indulgence during the most beautiful time of the year.
The hotel’s stunning acre of gardens is best enjoyed in autumn, with its dramatic Crimson Glory Vine spreading victoriously up the rear of the Mansion house, and the trees in the gardens below competing with their various brilliant shades. Now home to three rescue hedgehogs, Daphne, Jane and Beatrix, the gardens also provide guests with the opportunity to see these beautiful little animals making their preparations for hibernation; they have been spotted on their rambles from 8pm onwards, and a map indicating their usual locations is available from reception.
The hotel features 45 individually decorated rooms and suites, each overlooking views of the golden acre of secluded gardens, the city of Bath, or the famous Crescent lawn. Situated in the heart of the city’s sweeping Royal Crescent, amidst honey-hued Georgian architecture and cobbled streets, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa offers the perfect UK stay in one of Britain’s most treasured heritage cities. The high street is a mere ten-minute stroll away, but you wouldn’t know it from the peaceful, green setting of the hotel.
Bath is beautiful, but guests needn’t leave the grounds if they don’t want to – there is plenty to keep you occupied. The award-winning Spa & Bath House, set in a beautifully converted Coach House, is ideal for rewinding. Take a dip in the twelve-metre heated relaxation pool before indulging in the Himalayan Salt- infused Sauna or Herbal Steam Inhalation Room. Sample one of the exquisite treatments on offer, such as the Royal Crescent Signature Treatment, to feel truly rested.
Dining is also taken care of; led by Head Chef, David Campbell, the 3AA Rosette Dower House offers an ever-changing seasonal menu that champions the best of Somerset produce, with each dish perfectly paired with a fine wine selected by the resident sommelier.
Adhering to government guidelines and UK hospitality advice, the hotel have put in place a number of enhanced procedures to ensure the health and safety of their guests as top priority, all whilst delivering the same personalised service and attention to detail expected at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa.
Distancing measures are of course in place in the hotel’s Dower House Restaurant, however, should guests feel more comfortable dining in the comfort of their own suite, the hotel will be only too happy to arrange.
