Royal High School Bath Prep School caters for girls aged 3-11 and prides itself on a supportive, caring ethos where every girl is treated as an individual and known to all.

There is a warm and nurturing team of staff who are dedicated to developing girls’ personal strengths and talents and are there to support any individual need.
The School’s ‘Cranwell Curriculum’ is based on the Reggio Emilia approach, and is designed to be engaging, diverse and girl-centred. It focuses on creative approaches to learning, helping girls develop independent thinking and enquiry-based learning skills, whilst growing their understanding of the world, citizenship and collective responsibility.
Equally, girls have many opportunities to develop skills that go beyond the curriculum. At weekly ‘Inspire’ sessions different year groups come together for activities such as coding, navigation and engineering. Leadership and working collaboratively is encouraged from an early age whether it is getting involved in school council, becoming an ecowarrior or joining the orchestra.

The School’s timetable is designed to allow time for performing arts and languages with an inspiring amount of choice so that girls can build on their individual talents. Specialist teachers and state-of-the-art facilities help the girls experience the joy of performing and the wonderful sense of achievement this brings.
