Knowledge Recycled is an online platform that enables world-leading experts the ability to share their wealth of knowledge and expertise through live, interactive, online classes. It connects a community of top experts and small businesses with people looking for fun, engaging ways to learn remotely. 

 

The platform, which currently hosts top experts including Michelin trained chefs, an ex-MasterChef judge, Great British Menu winners and contestants, world renowned sommeliers and award-winning mixologists, offers individuals, private groups and corporates live virtual learning experiences or social events. The platform also offers advanced classes for those who are already in the industry and are looking for ways to build on their skills, for example, Sarah Mountain’s pastry classes. 

Knowledge Recycled launched seven weeks ago, at the beginning of August. The idea was conceived by Bath-based entrepreneur Julia Kemp, who previously worked as a growth marketing consultant to start-ups. After seeing how the hospitality industry was affected over lockdown, Julia decided to launch solely focused on food and drink. Prices start at £9 per screen and we also offer private bespoke classes for remote birthday parties or corporate happy hour/team socials.

All classes are run through Zoom and can be booked through the Knowledge Recycled website, or you can purchase one of their gift cards. It’s not compulsory to participate and interact but if you’d like to, all participants are provided with an ingredient pack beforehand in order to cook, or drink, along on the call.

Experts include Tom Anglesea, Great British Menu winner, James Cochran, Great British Menu ‘Champion of Champions’, Sarah Mountain, Executive Pastry Chef at The Ned Hotel, Tom Dyer, the world flair champion, Josh Katz, author of Berber & Q cookbook, and many more!
