We are Electric

Komedia Bath is excited to announce a programme of FREE live music events that will take place in its newly refurbished Electric Bar.

This series of events will take place on various Friday and Sunday afternoons from 2pm-4pm and offer a chance to discover awesome live music - ranging from jazz and blues to folk and pop. The Electric Bar at Komedia offers a relaxed, trendy environment to enjoy homemade pizzas & street food favourites, alongside a fully stocked bar with local beers, cocktails and everything in-between. Now, with the addition of live music, there really is no better place to spend a lazy afternoon in the centre of Bath…

Sunday 5 June:

Reuben's Daughters (2-4pm) 

An artist of a region where alternative-pop is like a second religion Reuben Myles Tyghe, aka Reuben’s Daughters has been evolving for almost two decades at the heart of the local independent scene in the South West of England. 

His ‘daughters’ accompany on the stage, in the studio and with all creative elements. Behind this nickname, both intimate and affectionate, hide the pillars of a rock-solid pop architecture.

Friday 24 June:

Archie Ray (2-4pm) 

Archie has a flair for hitting a pop nerve, with high impact choruses and full-on vocals. Backing up his guitars with loops and beats, it’s hard not to feel pumped with his commitment to each minute of performance.

Friday 15 July:

Connor McLeod (2-4pm) 

Connor McLeod is an acoustic singer-songwriter from the United States blending pop, blues, and rock styles to create an energy filled performance. His influences include John Mayer, Shawn Mendes, and Ed Sheeran. He has performed throughout the US, Europe, and the U.K. and is currently writing and recording his first solo EP to be released in February of 2022.

Sunday 19 June:

Dave Palmer (2-4pm) 

Dave began playing music professionally at the age of seventeen. His diverse and fascinating career was sparked in the clubs of Norfolk, Virginia and Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas then set off to the west coast via Seattle and San Francisco which led to the studio and concert landscape of Los Angeles.


​He’s worked with a vast array of artists as a touring musician, pianist, keyboardist, producer, co-writer, musical director and arranger.

Sunday 3 July:

Joely (2-4pm) 

Joely’s music is a dreamy mix of soulful vocals, country slide guitar and punchy indie-pop songs.

Kicking things off in 2019 with a headline show at the O2 Academy to launch her debut EP, she’s played BBC Introducing stages at a number of UK festivals, including an upcoming main stage slot at Truck Festival 2022.
