World food, weekly changing menu, delivered to your door…yes please!
Jesse Davies and Ross Shaw are the brains behind A:ROAM:A. Two local chefs, both Bath born and bred, with 20-years of high-end catering experience. They have collaborated to showcase their passion for food, travel and above all flavour, channelling their expertise to create a weekly changing feast. Each week they cook dishes inspired by flavours, spices and ingredients from different countries around the world, using the freshest ingredients and working closely with the best local suppliers.
They say - “Food is a massive part of our lives. We are eating it, thinking about it, trying not to think about, shopping for it, cooking it, watching programmes about it, even dreaming about it! We wanted to offer something different to our fellow Bathonians, serving food from countries across the globe, both well known and from places people might not have tried before. The concept was born out of lockdown, when eating out wasn’t an option, and has been a huge success. Our customers are coming back week after week for a “restaurant at home” experience, with no hassle of cooking or washing up of pots and pans and an exciting, new menu each week.
We are bridging a gap for couples with young children, who find it hard to get out to eat, and people from all walks of life that either can’t or don’t want to go out to eat. With Aroama it’s easy - no taxi’s, no babysitters, minimal washing up and delicious food at an affordable price!”
A:ROAM:A is a real alternative to standard take away food and, because you heat it up at home, it’s always piping hot. Everything is made on the day, including their freshly roasted, ground spice blends and pastes and each week there is a choice between a meat and a vegan meal. The food is served in compostable containers to reduce waste and washing up. All the food arrives chilled, the only preparation is to pre-heat the oven and follow the simple instructions provided. Delivery is free to the Bath city area and surrounding villages, Friday and Saturdays, between 5-7 pm. £16 per person.
