Throughout all the seasons of the year there is always a fantastic selection of salads, vegetables and fruit. Potatoes grown on the farm are sold by the sack at fantastic value for money. Seasonal fruit & vegetables are sourced locally from the local wholesale fruit & vegetable market as well as, seasonal and exotic fruit and vegetables from further afield.
The Reynolds family have farmed at Allington Bar, near Chippenham, as tenants, for three generations. Their in house butchery offers a wide range of meat & cuts, much of the meat is reared on the farm just behind the Farm Shop. The skilled butchers carefully hang the meat on the bone with a high level of attention to preparation, allowing the full flavour and tenderness of the meat to develop. The meat is not the bright red colour seen in most retail outlets but a darker shade which is a sign of craftsmanship. Each carcass is cut on its merits to give the customer, the very best.
This Farm Shop is packed full of delicious goodies and gifts; including fabulous hampers tailor made to your requirements. There is a range of hamper baskets & boxes ready to be filled to the brim with the goodies of your choice. Choose from the extensive range of locally produced goods on sale (any of which can be included) from local cheese, chutneys and biscuits, fine wines, local ales and ciders, preserves, cakes and chocolates to an entire Roast Dinner!
The Farm Shop includes a bakery with award winning handmade fresh bread from Hobbs House Bakery and Bakers Corner, Homemade Sponge Cakes as well as an indulgent selection of locally made Cakes, Meringues, Biscuits & Pies and Fresh, Gluten Free Bread, Cakes & Biscuits, a loose chocolate counter full of luxury chocolates handmade locally, hand packed, traditional sweets and the finest West Country fudge, perfect gifts and scrummy treats!
The delicatessen has an array of local, artisan & some continental cheeses, chorizo and local wild boar salami, home cooked meats, delicious Italian olives & insalatas, pates, handmade scotch eggs, locally smoked fish & meats, locally made pies and gluten free savouries, local, organic, jersey milk & cream, butter & yoghurt and fine oils & vinegars.

Allington also stock a great selection of local cider, beers, wines & locally distilled gins & fruit liqueurs and spirits, single variety apple juices, health drinks, hot chocolate, fine teas and freshly ground coffee. The shops beautiful tasting wines have been cherry picked from small producers who work relentlessly & diligently using the best terroir, hands on production and tradition passed on through generations. The majority of the wines in the collection are biodynamic and ecologically produced and will not be found in supermarkets.
