13 December ’18 to 13 January ’19
This Christmas at Bath’s Theatre Royal, one of the best-loved stories in children’s literature, J.M. Barrie’s PETER PAN appears on stage from Thursday 13th December to Sunday 13th January starring one of the UK’s most popular actors, PAUL NICHOLAS, Bath favourite JON MONIE and Casualty’s REBECCA WHEATLEY.
When Peter Pan flies into the Darling children’s nursery and takes them off to Neverland, a thrilling adventure begins in the magical world of Tinkerbell, Tiger Lily and the Lost Boys, where they encounter the dastardly Captain Hook and his hapless pirate crew. Packed with comedy, singing, dancing, beautiful costumes and plenty of audience participation, PETER PAN promises to be a swashbuckling and unmissable Christmas show that’s got everything – including flying, CGI special effects and all the traditional ingredients that make Bath pantomimes so special.
Starring as Captain Hook, PAUL NICHOLAS is known to millions of TV viewers for his roles in many favourite series including Just Good Friends, EastEnders and The Real Marigold Hotel. His leading roles in legendary West End musicals range from Hair to Grease, Barnum to Jesus Christ Superstar and Cats to Doctor Doolittle. He is joined by much-loved pantomime star JON MONIE who returns by huge popular demand to play Hook’s right-hand-man Smee and REBECCA WHEATLEY from Casualty who appears as Mrs. Darling. TIM EDWARDS plays Peter Pan, RACHEL GRUNDY plays Tinkerbell, JENNY HUXLEY-GOLDEN appears as Wendy and comedy acrobats THE NITWITS play Hook’s pirate crew, with the ENSEMBLE and dancers from Bath’s DOROTHY COLEBORN SCHOOL OF DANCE completing the cast.
