Win 2 tickets to see The Argument starring Felicity Kendal @TheatreRBath
One of the UK’s best-loved actresses, Felicity Kendal stars in a brand new production of William Boyd’s comedy The Argument which opens at the Theatre Royal Bath appearing from Wednesday 7th August to Saturday 24th August as part of the Summer Season.
Best-selling novelist and screenwriter William Boyd’s darkly funny play is a blistering look at the complexities of human relationships and how arguments can provide a catalyst for brutal honesty.
It was supposed to be a fun night out at the cinema for Meredith and Pip. But Meredith hated the film and Pip didn’t. Now it’s turned into an argument – the perfect opportunity to share their differences. With their marriage at breaking point, they turn to their respective friends, Jane and Tony. But maybe Jane likes Pip a little too much and maybe Tony doesn’t like Meredith enough. After thirty six years of marriage, surely Meredith’s parents Chloe and Frank, can advise. But maybe they don’t like any of them or each other. Will the argument tear them all apart?
Well known for her illustrious television and stage career, Felicity Kendal shot to fame in BBC’s The Good Life before starring in Solo, The Mistress, The Camomile Lawn and Rosemary & Thyme.
