A shortlist of 12 acts has been announced for Bath Introduces 2019 competition, run by partners Bath Festivals and Moles, after attracting record breaking entries #TheBathFestival @TheBathFestival
Bath Festivals and Moles have been blown away by the response to this year’s Bath Introduces competition, with 130 acts entering from all over the country (from as far and wide as Glasgow, Brighton, Manchester and Devon). Experts from Moles and Bath Festivals have listened to every act and have had the tough job of whittling them down to just 12 acts. The selection panel would like to thank everyone who entered, commenting that entries were of a very high standard.
The short-listed acts are:

- Masa Diora
- Giovanni L’Immigrato
- Delight A Thief
- Dessie Magee
- Hush Mozey
- ILL WILL
- Radio Laika

The musicians in these heats will be battling it out for a chance to play the Bath Festivals Finale Weekend on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June – alongside Clean Bandit, Van Morrison, Corrine Bailey Rae and more. Part of the prize-winning package is the opportunity to have a full day’s professional recording at the world renowned Real World Studios.

A panel of music industry judges will be at the Finale Weekend to pick the winner. They include:
- Senior consulting engineer at Real World Studios Tim Oliver.
- Last year’s Bath Introduces winner, singer-songwriter Isobel Holly.
- Guitarist and award-winning composer Justin Adams.
