Staunton Manor: Character Homes in Idyllic Surroundings @knightfrank @whitecroft1

Award-winning developer, Whitecroft Developments Ltd, are creating a stunning and bespoke development converting six barns and the original manor house into two distinctive homes in the unique and idyllic location of Staunton Manor, Whitchurch Village.

Captivatingly presented, these eight individual homes are an important part of the village’s heritage, courting with the history of Staunton Manor as a mix of bakeries, brew houses and agricultural buildings. The courtyard is on a private, ‘no-through’ road creating its very own hamlet in the heart of this picturesque village.

These high quality, uniquely designed homes all retain original features: with original stonework on the barn conversions, in keeping with the traditional feel of the village. Valentino kitchens have been fitted to create an ease for family living, providing a luxurious, contemporary and practical statement kitchen. Integra appliances (Bosh oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer) achieve a clean finish to the kitchen, resulting in more open space.

The barns offer the opportunity for spacious one storey open plan living spaces, the architectural designs have enabled original features to sit alongside new light filled extensions.

The bathrooms, en-suites and cloakrooms in the properties have been fashioned with neutral tones in a simple and stylish approach. Created with Villeroy & Boch fittings in soft grey and white and beautiful Roubaix bone tiles, they are perfect for you to personalise with your own finishing touches upon moving in.

Floor finishes are included as standard, flooring is dependent on room type, generally first floor bedrooms are carpeted, and ground floors are finished with engineered wood and tiles. All new homes have underfloor heating as standard.

These new homes will benefit from a 10 year New Homes Warranty. Expected completion will see all homes finished by spring 2019. The properties are being released for sale ahead of this date and reservations are available to be made off plan.

Whitchurch Village is a village in Bath & North East Somerset, the barns and manor house were previously owned by the Friends of Bristol Horses Society, set up in 1952 by just 12 people helping to save hundreds of horses; 50 of them being in the first 15 years!

Publicly opening in 2000 they changed their name to HorseWorld, becoming the charity we now know today with a nationwide reach. In selling off some of the land to further support the charity these stunning homes have been built sympathetically with their history in mind.
